Saturday Night Live returns for Season 41 this fall. Hans and Franz Lodges Leavenworth WA located in Downtown, sleeps 26 guests. A planned Hans & Franz movie never got off the ground, though… which is for the best, don’t ya think? And the characters still live on: Just last year, Carvey and Nealon played Hans and Franz in a series of State Farm commercials alongside Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Hans & Franz started out as an Ah-nuld parody, but Schwarzenegger embraced it, even referring to California legislators as “girlie men” during his term as governor. Arnold gets fed up with his cousins, though, threatening that he’ll “twist your flab into the shape of a pacifier, and I’m gonna have you suck on it until you poop in your diapers.” Well… that shuts them up pretty quick. The rest of the sketch features Hans and Franz interrupting Arnold’s fitness speech to a room of schoolchildren and encouraging the kids to flex their pecs, oil up their bodies, and shave off all their body hair. In this 1991 sketch, lunkheaded bodybuilders Hans (Dana Carvey) and Franz (Kevin Nealon) tell their viewers they spent the summer watching “the year’s most important cultural event”: Terminator 2. So for this week’s Saturday Night Live throwback, we’re hitting the gym for the ultimate Hans & Franz installment, when they met their idol Ah-nuld.
